No firmware edits — point-and-click what this node does. Set its role, Modbus poll plan, reporting interval and deep-sleep over USB or BLE, and read it back to confirm.
One job: decide what a node does, without recompiling firmware or typing serial commands.
Over USB, or wirelessly over BLE — the page reads the node’s current mode and firmware version.
Gateway or sensor; the Modbus poll plan (slave, function, registers); reporting interval; deep-sleep sub-mode.
Write to the node, then read its config back — so you see the node’s real state and don’t misread it.
Note: needs desktop Chrome / Edge (Web Serial / Web Bluetooth). It configures the Meshtastic node only — it sends the config to the connected node, not to other field nodes on the channel.
