What it solves

One job: get a known-good firmware onto a board, with nothing installed.

Who: Anyone holding a board — integrator, customer, or you.
The pain: “I need the official firmware on this board, but I have no toolchain and won’t install a pile of tools.”
What it removes: The dev environment, the command line, and hunting for where the firmware lives.
In → out: A bare board on USB → (pick firmware, flash) → a node running a known firmware version.
Done when: The board boots and the Configurator can see it.

Plug the board into your computer; the device is auto-detected in the browser.

Pick the official .bin; the flash address defaults to 0x0 for a full image.

Write with a live progress bar and log; unplug/replug and the node boots the new firmware.

Note: Web Serial needs desktop Chrome / Edge over HTTPS. If a board won’t connect, hold its BOOT button and replug USB, then retry.

Provision → configure → integrate. Once the firmware is on:

Tell the node what to do — role, Modbus poll plan, deep sleep.

Bring the mesh data into your MQTT / serial / plant system.
