Yes. The SQC485Iv2 runs Meshtastic®-compatible firmware, so it joins a secure, self-healing LoRa mesh alongside other Meshtastic nodes — no gateway and no internet required. It can also be configured for LoRaWAN® backhaul instead.
That is exactly what the SQC485Iv2 is for. Wire your Modbus / RS485 instrument to its rugged ±70 V isolated port, and it carries the data over LoRa mesh or LoRaWAN — no corporate network and no local gateway needed.
Provisioning is done over USB-C or Bluetooth (BLE) from a phone or browser — flash firmware, pick LoRa mesh or LoRaWAN, and configure the RS485 port. All firmware and documentation are maintained in-house in Taiwan for the 920–925 MHz NCC band.
Yes — the SQS-TH-I. It’s the built-in-sensor sibling of the SQC485Iv2: the same LoRa, USB-C and enclosure platform, but with a temperature & humidity sensor inside instead of an RS485 terminal. Drop it where you can’t run wiring and it reports over the same Meshtastic mesh. A battery version, the SQS-TH-I-B, runs for years untethered.
